1 Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide, secure, and enhance our scheduling and social features:

• Account Data: Name, username, email address, password hash (salt-hashed, strictly non-plaintext), and optional profile image.
• User Generated Content: Custom schedules, event details, photos, comments, and real-time chat messages shared in Space Fireplaces.
• Social & Connection Data: Follow lists, space memberships, and user interaction preferences.
• Technical & Usage Data: Device hardware info, OS version, app version, IP address, and anonymized diagnostic crash logs to ensure app performance.

2 How We Use Your Information

Your information is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• Operating, maintaining, and improving Pivvle features.
• Facilitating schedule sharing, privacy-masked busy/free calendar views, and group lounge interactions.
• Enforcing security, preventing fraud, and protecting users against unauthorized activity.
• Fulfilling legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.

3 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share limited data with trusted third parties strictly under the following conditions:

• In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: Payment processes (e.g. Pivvle Premium) are handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or process payment card details.
• Public Information: Schedules or events explicitly set by you as "Public" will be visible to other Pivvle users.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or government regulation.

4 Account Deletion & Right to be Forgotten

In accordance with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and Apple App Store Review Guidelines, you have the full right to delete your account and personal data at any time.

• Direct In-App Deletion: You can initiate and finalize account deletion directly within the mobile application under Settings > Manage Account > Delete Account.
• Permanent Removal: Deleting your account immediately and permanently purges your account profile, credentials, authentication tokens, and private calendar schedules from our active database.
• Anonymization of Public Group Threads: To prevent data corruption or breaking conversation context for remaining active space members, messages or comments sent prior to deletion will have all associated personal identifiers permanently detached and replaced with an anonymized handle ("Deleted User").
• 14-Day Account Restoration Request Window: If you deleted your account by mistake, you may request account restoration within 2 weeks (14 days) of deletion by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address. This 2-week window allows our team sufficient time to verify your identity and process the request before final system purge.

5 Security & Limitation of Liability for Data Incidents

We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards (including TLS/SSL encryption in transit and AES encryption at rest). However, no system or internet transmission is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you provide personal information at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivvle accepts no liability for unauthorized access, data breaches, or security incidents resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6 Children's Privacy

Pivvle does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will immediately delete such information from our records.

7 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our application and website.
